GALLATIN COUNTY HISTORIC PRESERVATION BOARD
GOALS 2011 – 2012
- Focus on Historic Preservation activities in Gallatin County as stated in our mission statement: “to help preserve the heritage of Gallatin County by recognizing, promoting and publicizing the significance of the historic districts, site, and structures within the county…”
- Continue to improve our status and partner with groups that also do the work of preservation or that have a similar goal such as museums, boards, etc.
- Continue our focus on fundraising for schoolhouses in February and through a historic sites tour in May
- Establish historic preservation awards
- Develop a power point presentation of sites
- Increase our visibility in Gallatin County
