OUR GOALS
For the past several years tax dollars have come to the Fairgrounds and have been used for capital improvements. User fees generated from rentals of the Fairgrounds’ facilities and revenues generated by the County Fair are used to fund operational costs. Because of greater demand for more services, the County Commissioners are cutting the tax support to the Fairgrounds. Because the Fairgrounds has become an important community activity center, a 501(c)(3) Foundation has been formed to raise funds to replace the lost tax dollars so that improvements of the Fairgrounds are able to continue.
