Trailer Courts & Campgrounds
Trailer courts are inspected to insure an adequate level of sanitation in sewage disposal, water supply, and refuse disposal. Health Department sanitarians inspect trailer courts on an annual and complaint basis. Trailer Courts, by definition, are considered to be subdivisions. Therefore any new proposal for a Trailer Court must have plans and specifications reviewed and approved by the Department of Environmental Quality. Plans may also be subject to review by the local planning department.
Campgrounds are also inspected to assure public safety. For more information on trailer courts and campgrounds, visit the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services Administrative Rules.
