Information:
The Gallatin County Road Department has completed the application of dust control through the Dust Control Cost Share Program.
A private company will be closing Durston Road to through traffic starting Monday, June 16th to prepare the road for pavement. Please plan to use alternate routes.
The Road Department has removed the spring break up weight limits placed on roads in various areas of Gallatin County.
The Gallatin County Road Department has permanent weight limits of 400 lbs/inch tire width (8 Ton single axle, 16 Ton double axle) on the following roads:
Gooch Hill Road - south of Huffine
Valley Center Road East – I-90 underpass to Jackrabbit
The Gallatin County Road and Bridge Department, and the Junk Vehicle Program, are in the process of building a new office/shop complex. The new building is located at 205 West Baxter Lane, west of Jackrabbit Lane. Construction is expected to be completed near the middle of August.
