October 6th
On October 6th, 2008, at approximately 5:58 PM the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call of a one vehicle accident on Interstate 90, near milepost 300. The vehicle drove off the north side of the interstate and landed upside down in the placeKnife River gravel pit pond.
The occupant of the vehicle, Jian Kun Wu of placeCityWhitehall 31 years old, was the lone occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Montana Highway Patrol and the Gallatin County Sheriff’s /Coroner’s office are investigating the accident and the ensuing fatality.
