STATE ASSISTED LIVING LICENSING CRITERIA
Level A: Assistance with dressing, bathing, medication reminders and other personal care needs provided in a home-like atmosphere.
Adult Foster Care Homes (AFC): Provides the same services as Level A, but with no more than four residents.
Level B: Requires oversight by a physician with assessment and care planning for needs similar to nursing home care but still offered in a more home-like setting.
