Under supervision, performs a variety of routine duties toward serving food and maintaining kitchen and dining room facilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants for positions within this class must have knowledge of common kitchen appliances, utensils, and their proper usage; and have the ability to learn to operate kitchen appliances; maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for kitchen and food preparation; understand written and oral instructions; handle sensitive and confidential information; and establish and maintain cooperative relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
EDUCATION: Equivalent to completion of the eighth grade.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience in a similar capacity.
